Motorvator
Voodoo DeVille
A mix of Chicago blues, boogie woogie, early rock & roll, and a little rockabilly. Nothing fancy here - these are the songs the band loves to play and their fans love to hear.

Description
Voodoo DeVille is a five piece band working out of the Philadelphia area. The band was formed in 1998 by a group of like-minded guys who enjoyed the blues and enjoyed playing them even more. While Chicago blues is our starting point, we've ventured into jump, boogie woogie, early rock 'n roll, and rockabilly. We count many of the greats as our idols and influences but we don't feel bound to stick strictly to one style or one way of playing. If it's fun to play, then it's in our set list. It's never failed - when we have fun, our audience has fun. And that's why we do it.
Our first CD - Motorvator - reflects this approach to our music. When we picked the songs for this CD, we had no message to send, no agenda in mind. We simply picked the songs that we love to play. It covers a range of styles but the heart of each song has solidly American roots. We've created a CD we think you'll have fun listening to - so kick back and enjoy yourself.
Voodoo DeVille's lineup includes Buddy "Pops" Cleveland on harp & vocals; Steve "the Professor" Cocchi on keyboards, guitar & vocals; and George "Rooster" Dulchinos also on guitar. The rhythm section, with Ray "T-Bone" Bentley on bass and John "the Delaware Destroyer" Gooding on drums, make it all hang together.
We're here to have fun - how about you? You can find out more about the band on our web site at www.voodoodeville.com. Enjoy!
