Description
In this Recording, Behzad Mirkhani (1969 Tehran) has offered his original compositions for nylon guitars, strings, and Piano, as meditative music. Meanwhile, you hear the sound of Spring's immigrant birds and other sounds of nature which bring a splash of relaxing colour to the music. This programme also includes some sweet, delicate and dreamy transcriptions from J.S.Bach, Beethoven, Tchaikovsky, Verdi, Grieg, Brahms, Oscar Rieding, and Akbar Mohseni. This latter composer, Akbar Mohseni (1912 Tehran), considered the dean of Iranian composers, had been active for more than sixty years. He was a great performer of tar and ood (Iranian lute).
