Description
Ghettobillies 4th full length studio album "Cockpit" is a not so subtle departure from the roots upon which the harmonizing accoustic troubadours came. After touring Europe and America for 4 years with the current line up (Robbie Conaway, Derek Kramer, John Maloney, and Matt Longbons), the GBs have graduated to a level far exceeding even their own initial expectations. Their music and lyrics have become as mature and realized as the band itself. This album is the result of experience. Both in and out of the bars and on and off the stage. It's been 7 years of playing, singing and touring nonstop that has brought them undeniably and unavoidably to this point. They are at the peak of their powers and aren't planning on letting up anytime soon.
The concept album "Cockpit" is the tightest package you are likely to ever see emerge from an unsigned band. Being independent has afforded this group the opportunity to play whatever they want to whoever they want, whenever they want...and they have.
...and always will.
"Cockpit' is the next logical step in this bands constant evolution toward greatness and perfection. There won't be a better album put out by any unsigned band this year" -James Pantalones, Midwest Music Magazine
"An absolute masterpiece" -David Brillante, NYC Music
"This band deserves everything they're sure to get..." -Elizabeth Montgomery, Chicago Sun Times
