Description
This is the 3rd CD in the Jazz On The Vine series. Jazz & Wine! It's a delicious blend cultivated amongst the vineyards of Sonoma & Napa counties. To celebrate this affinity between wine & jazz, 4 wine country musicians have come together to produce Jazz On The Vine; an eclectic mix of musical styles, rhythms and textures. The featured ensembles showcase the talents of some of the wine countries finest musicians.

"Jazz on the Vine" is the brainchild of four gifted musicians living and working in the Napa and Sonoma Valleys. One warm summer evening, after a dinner party, including a particularly voluptuous Merlot, musicians Barry Schiffman, Dan Goldfus, Larry Baskett and Tom Edwards "banded" together to explore the possibility of producing an album that reflected the joyful lifestyle of the wine country - to be offered for sale in local shops and wineries. The fruit of their labors is available for your "tasting" pleasure. Now you can enjoy the regional jazz sounds of the wine country of California - from artists who provide the music for many of the local festive occasions, including the Sonoma Valley Jazz Festival.
