Description
This is the CD single release from the Alan Merrilll 2004 solo album "Aleecat".
The mixes on this single are slightly different than the the versions on the album. The 3 songs vary in style, from the raucous barrelhouse pub sing-along "Trisha Uptown", to the sexy mid tempo "Everytime She Comes Around", winding up with the cynical John Lennon-esque cynical ballad "Illusion".
Alan Merrill has been an international mainstay in rock music for years, and is best known for singing, writing and releasing the original Arrows version of "I love rock n roll" in 1975, a song later covered by Joan Jett, Britney Spears and many others.
If you aren't familiar with Alan Merrill's work, this is current, and a real good place to start.
