Description
Joe Jewell is an itinerant hammered dulcimer player, performing at renaissance festivals and other venues around the country. When home in Arkansas he is a regular at the Ozark Folk Center, in Mtn. View, his home town. He has been performing on the dulcimer for over 20 years and plays a wide variety of music from around the world, from medieval througth American mountain music.
"Bluebells of Scotland" is an album of instrumental tunes representing all 5 regions of Scotland with their different musical traditions: the Highlands, the Hebrides Islands, the Lowlands, the Shetland Islands, and the Borderlands near England..
