Description
Red Snow's NEW CD "Showtime Motel"featuring NEW Vocalist LaLa Avedis is now available!
Red Snow first came together as a band with founder/guitarist Vahe Marzbetuny, bassist Zareh Marzbetuny, and Jirair Habeshian on Drums. Red Snow emerged as one the first Armenian/American Hard Rock bands, which has developed an impressive fan base in L.A. In 2001, Jack Kurdian (keyboards) and Vahe, met unexpectedly in Armenia. Their chance meeting inspired them to join forces and convert their spiritual experience to music. The newly evolved group is fueled by LaLa Avedis on vocals. She is best known as lead singer of the pop group Fem 2 Fem. LaLa recorded 2 albums with the group, toured extensively throughout the States and abroad and also starred in a musical called "Voyuerz" in London's prestigious West End. Finally, Shant Sarkissian on drums adds an incredible rhythmic backbone and completes Red Snow's current lineup. Red Snow now fuses together their varied influences to create what is considered to be their finest work to date. Their self-produced CD titled "Showtime Motel," was recognized with a nomination for "Best Rock Album" at the 2004 Armenian Music Awards. 2004 ended with several explosive shows at such venues as the Whiskey and The Henry Fonda Theatre. In 2005, Red Snow continues to pack venues and will release a new EP which promises to push the envelope creatively and add to a catalog of great songs.
