Saturn
Alternative urban pop - think Prince meets Depeche Mode, throw in a little dose of Bowie and sprinkle it with edges of Timbaland.

EXTRA! EXTRA! THIS JUST IN! FIVE YEAR OLD BOY CHANNELS MAHALIA JACKSON VIA GRANDMOTHER'S HIGH HEELS!
When Saturn was five, if you awoke early enough on a Sunday morning, you'd catch him on the front porch, his tiny feet buried in his grandmother's high heels, her Sunday hat falling lopsided on his head, belting out his favorite gospel hymns to the top of his lungs. He wanted the whole world to hear.
Fast forward twenty years... He's lost the heels and the hat, but he's still singing his heart out ... though maybe not quite like Mahalia Jackson. And he stills wants the whole world to hear.
Writing, composing, and producing songs that run the gamut of genres from pop to dance to urban, Saturn infuses his own funky blend of "pop - hop" music with a raw edge and sensuality that is heavily influenced by such icons as Prince and Madonna.
Ed Mannix of Outmusic called Saturn's music "a sultry, pop-laden mix that is a throwback to the late "80s sound."
WCH Radio called Saturn one of its "top 25 independent artists of 2003".
If you've ever listened to the nationally syndicated news show "This Way Out", chances are you heard about Saturn when he was a featured artist of the month.
His debut album, "The Virgin Poet," has received enthusiastic praise for its "highly theatrical" and "emotionally raw" content while his performances at Pride events throughout the Northeast showed that he could pull it off live.
Saturn is turning up the heat with his 2004 release "Deviant." This sexy sophomore album starts where "The Virgin Poet" left off and shows his skill for musicianship and production as well as writing and singing groove-laden music that will make you get up and dance.
