Born in Israel in 1980, his family had moved to Dallas when he was only a year old. After living in the U.S for 6 years he moved back with his family to the "Holy Land" where he had lived until the age of 22.

As a child Gigs learned how to play both the piano and the guitar, although Gigs was classically trained on both instruments, he quickly took his skills and turned to songwriting.

After finishing his mandatory military service in Israel, Gigs immediately moved back to the United States and began his musical journey.
