The Shari Elf Tribute Album
Friends of Shari Elf
I asked people to contribute songs to my S. Elf Tribute Album, the plan worked. we gathered 45 great songs together. I love this album even if I had to instigate it myself.

Description
Hey, no one else was planning one anytime soon, so I said to myself, "S. Elf", I'll plan my own tribute album and invite folks to send me a song." I started inviting people in December of 2003. Happily, a year later the whole project had come together with 45 great songs (OK, I contributed 5 of my own songs here--it's my album!)
It took me 15 years to complete my debut CD "I'm Forcing Goodness Upon You," so I thought I should get busy on this project right away. I was delighted if not somewhat stunned that the plan worked, songs started pouring in!
The Shari Elf Tribute Album is my favorite album of all time and I think you'll enjoy it, too, if only to steal the idea and arrange your own Tribute Album.
And a special big thank you for all my new best friends who made songs for this album. I love you guys! Something good happened to me this year!
Thanks also to Doug Newman of The Cat Album and Red Beans and Rice, from whom I stole the idea of the tribute album. Doug wanted to get famous musicians to record all the songs on his "Cat Album." He imagined Neil Young singing "Kitty Come Back," etc.
Thanks a whole bunch to Milo Ippolito in Atlanta, Georgia who got a lot of his friends on board: Shellboy, Churchill's Tractor, Aurora Cicero (Milo's Sister), and Glupi Ludi with Robyn Bors and Milo's band. Thanks, Miloj, this album wouldn't be the same with out these great contributions!
