Description
Jackson Hardware hails from the home of the world famous Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Based in Cleveland, Ohio, the five piece band have honed their own unique style from years of rock influence on the Cleveland rock scene and as a Cleveland Battle of The Bands winner.
Their music has a been described as a mix of Matchbox 20 meeting Neil Young. Their hook is a blend of acoustic guitars with a lead guitar centerpiece that takes the music into overdrive.
On their first release, Always Tuesday, the band delivers 12 original tunes that take you through a journey of growing-up in the Rock & Roll capital with the fiber of styles that only the once steel town could provide. Lead vocalist and guitarist L.F. Insana picked 12 of his favorites from his compilation of over 500 original tunes. With the ripping licks of Steve Martin on lead guitar and the harmonies of all, Insana's songcraft comes to life. The chorus and chant on Lonesome Highway is a local favorite and is a cut that is sure to cross-over into the country charts. Take A Good Look is pure Jackson Hardware and is a sound unmatched by any other. With guest horn player Key Traylor, Take a Good Look kicks this CD up a notch with the message to take care of yourself and the rest will fall into place.
Rounding out the CD are two tributes to the Native American Indian and rock hero John Lennon: Oh So Brave and Villain need to be heard. So Take A Good Look (and listen) at Jackson Hardware and listen good.
