Jackson's tasteful, melodic work moves the songs along with singing propulsiveness. Jackson's fiery accordion surges, reminiscent of Astor Piazzolla's bandoneon, further spice up the mix and David McKelvy's virtuoso harmonica is as sweetly American as Huckleberry Finn.
