Description
Steve baxter a multitalented trombonist and composer, first started out in Houston Texas, with the award winning high shool jazz ensemble "Forest Brook", and soon after off to Howard University, where music became focus, performing with local bands, recording with Howard U jazz ensemble, blowing tribute's to Tholonius Monk, that featured: Grady Tate(drums), Charlie Rouse(sax) Wallace Roney(trumpet), Curtist Fuller(trombone) . Soon after went on the roads with Ray Charles, Gladys Knight and Johnny 'guitar' Watson. Then started performing and recording for Horace Silver, Gerald Wilson, Cameo , AL McKay Allstars, Bobby Matos, Babyface, The Crusaders, Barry Manilow, Eric Benet, Sheila E, Macy Gray , Ziggy Marley, the" Crusaders live in Japan 2003" Hidden Beach Unwrapped volume 1 -3 and many others. Now for the first time, a solo project, that feature's: Paul Jackson jr, Reggie Hamilton, Eddie M, Al Mckay, Brion James, Lamont Van Hook, Mica Fisher, Jullie Delgado, Donald Hayes, Dino Soldo, Andre Robertson, Rickey Minor, Land Richards, Harry Kim, Ernie Fields jr.
