Description
"Guitars Rule"
An Instrumental CD
Featuring the unique talents of guitarist
"Bobby Flurie"
A veteran of more then 25 years of professional experience
in the world of music.
Bobby has performed on stage with:
Quicksilver Messenger Service - Boz Skaggs
Eddie Money - The Pointer Sisters - Journey
The Doobie Brothers - Huey Lewis - Moby Grape
Country Joe and the Fish - The Dinosaurs
Big Brother and the Holding Company
(the list goes on and on)
"Guitars Rule" was adapted into an instrumental from a
recent project entitled, "Now and Then".
Vocals were removed and replaced with guitar tracks.
We like to say, a "Wall of Guitars".
All the guitar work on this CD is a product of
Bobby Flurie,
accompanied by Ken Johnson, on bass
Mike Mayo, on Percussion.
Selected cuts include Al Remsburg on sax.
Bobby Flurie is a rare guitar personality.
His battle worn "Gibson SG" is the extension of
this personality (no peddles, no gimmicks).
Any effects, beside reverb, are studio induced.
A "Fender Telecaster" was used on select cuts,
as a tribute to Bobby's long time friend and confidant,
"Roy Buchanan".
With the exception of three cuts,
all songs are Bobby's creation.
Two "Bonus" track (12 & 13) were recorded in 1980,
in California.
The rest are a product of:
WKJ Productions and Flurie Records
Published by WKJ Music-BMI
