Growing up on a steady diet of country, classic rock and top 40, Chris got the best of all musical worlds by listening to great songwriters like Willie Nelson, Billy Joel, Bruce Springsteen, and the Indigo Girls, and great rock acts like Led Zeppelin, Eric Clapton, and Del Amitri. Drawing from these influences and many others, Chris has spent the last ten years creating an impressive catalog of award-winning songs that are uniquely his. The results can be heard on his ambitious debut release, Dark Secret.

Recorded and mixed by John Morand (Cracker, Hanson, Joan Osborne, Sparklehorse, September 67), Dark Secret draws from rock, pop, country, and folk, yet has a continuity all its own. From the atmospheric "Twilight" and the 'Nashvegas' stylings of "Another Love", to the guitar rock of "Nonchalant Lisa (Forgive & Forget)", it is easy to hear why Chris has been recognized in several national and international song competitions (Unisong 2000 & '01, Billboard '01, Great American Song Contest '01, Songlounge.com '03).

In 2003 Chris relocated to Brooklyn, New York to continue his musical endeavors and bring his music to a wider audience.
