Description

Daniel Glen Timms is currently on rotation at over 30 commercial radio stations from all over the country, including nine 100,000-watt stations and several other strong signal stations. The new CD is receiving spins at country, adult-oriented rock and adult album alternative stations. This artist has crossover appeal with his rootsy blendy of country and rock, a la The Eagles, Tom Petty, etc.

Daniel Glen Timms played the club scenes for years in Louisiana and southern California where he attracted a loyal following. The singer/songwriter/guitarist received the highest rated rock review of the year in Music Connection magazine and was featured in the Top Twenty reviews of the year issue. He also received radio airplay on college and community radio on his previous demo that was recorded on 8-track. Following this great reaction to his demo, Blue Earth Records, an upstart independent label, signed DGT to its label and put him into a major studio. The new CD is the studio album coming to its fruition.

The label is releasing the CD to select radio markets this summer, and is finding distribution in Louisiana, Texas, California, Europe and Asia, as well. The official release date will be July 4, 2004. The album is beginning to receive airplay from the current pre-release to select radio stations and we hope to bring DGT's music to a wider audience this summer when a larger release to radio is planned.
