Description

BARRY FONE plays many instruments including guitar, bass, drums, piano/keyboard, pedal steel guitar and violin. His love for music stems from early childhood and his many talents come through in the rich, lavish music he writes.

Barry spent most of his life is St. Louis, Mo., where he met and performed with various local bands before turning to writing and composing. To date, Barry's music has earned him recognition in the Billboard Song Contest four times; and all of the songs are on the CD!

Barry continues to search for new, fresh sounds while being careful not to get "too unique", preferring to utilize familiar instrument sounds to create new textures and moods, rather than use the latest effects to disguise lack of composing skill.

Barry has been said to deliver a style all his own, similar enough to current trends to blend in, but just individual and personal enough to carve his own niche in the genre of love songs and ballads...with an occasional upbeat rocker thrown in to keep things in balance!
