Tourist
Shawn Hebb
Catchy and melodic alt country/pop songs kind of like Matthew Sweet meets John Mayer.

Description
Shawn Hebb is a dynamic songwriter/multi instrumentalist with a knack for writing catchy songs with heartfelt lyrics.
His latest album Tourist is a lo-fi, roots based, country flavored pop album with strong imagery and feeling. Recorded and mixed in his small lakeshore apartment, Tourist is full of radio friendly melodies and clear honest lyrics.
Growing up an only child in a military family, Shawn moved 5 times by the time he reached his teens, living everywhere from Ontario, Nova Scotia, and Canadian and American Air force bases in Germany.
Studying piano at age 7, Shawn switched to guitar in his early teens, and was soon playing his first gigs in local bars by age 15. Shawn continued his music education at Humber College in Toronto.
Not fixated on any particular style of music, Shawn has played in a variety of bands ranging from Rock to Reggae, Sixties Surf to Funk, and Disco to Country.
Shawn has performed in Canada, the US, Thailand, Hong Kong and Europe, and frequently visits the South Shore of Nova Scotia to visit his parents, play video games, and do absolutely nothing.
Shawn currently lives in Toronto and is writing songs for his next album.
