Description
...sublime honesty, ginger-laced vocals, honey-dipped melodies, with a twist of lemon sunshine...
Indie Folk songstress Ange Boxall, born in Tasmania, Australia, is now based in London, UK.
Often compared to Joni Mitchell and Jewel and KD Lang, Ange's contemporary acoustic songs deliver strong yet soothing melody with honest lyrical appeal.
She regularly performs live at high-profile London venues such as the Borderline, 12 Bar Club, Cobden Club, Spitz Bar, Kashmir Klub and Bedford Arms.
Ange has now finished recording her latest 12 track album ' Release ', produced by Will Worsley (Yusef Islam, Obi, Sasoto) at Faraway Sound in Westbourne Park, London.
Her musical entourage on both the new album 'Release' and at live performances includes Al Mobbs on Double Bass (David Gray, Gorillaz), Nick Holland on Cello (Sky Edwards, David Byrne, Ilya, Myleene Klass, The Divine Comedy) Mike Reed on Drums (Prodigy) and Tom Worsley on guitars (Obi).
