Description
The Onion Creek Crawdaddies have accomplished quite a bit in their short career. In 2003 they released their successful debut Barn Burners & Bathtub Bourbon, an all-original 15-song album that turned the heads of many in the Austin music community and throughout the US and Europe. They have performed at practically every live music venue in Austin and have developed a strong following. In 2004 they took the show on the road through the Southeastern and Atlantic coastal U.S. with performances in Atlanta, Augusta, Asheville, Richmond, Arlington, VA and New York City, all with fun enthusiastic crowds. They had the pleasure of sharing the stage with The Greencards in Arlington, the Asylum Street Spankers in Atlanta, and Junior Brown at Poor David's Pub in Dallas.
The OCC spent most of 2005 performing regularly at a weekly gig on Thursdays at the Continental Club in Austin, and writing new material that was recorded this spring at Willie Nelson's Pedernales Studio. The much anticipated new album will be released in Winter 2006.
