Description
The Sound of Christmas boasts a mix of jazz, orchestral, and traditional arrangements of popular Christmas carols, featuring the extraordinary trumpet sounds of Ralph Moore, backed by some of the nations most phenomenal musicians and producers.
This project opens with a riveting rendition of God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen produced by Jeffrey Jones and Christopher Stevens, of Tye Tribbetts band, Soundcheck. It also features the production talents of singer, song-writer and producer, Christopher Lewis and Perfecting Churchs own, Derrick Starks (who has traveled across the country and abroad as a bandmember/music director with Vanessa Bell Armstrong, the Clark Sisters, and the Whitfield Company choir), and others. The Sound of Christmas also includes one of Ralph Moores original compositions, Everlasting Life. This ballad, based on John 3:16-17, reminds us of the true meaning of Christmas, Gods gift to all mankind. The CD concludes with the traditional classics, O Come, O Come, Emmanuel and What Child Is This, encouraging the worship of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
