Description
Yvonne Roome has been singing and acting for years. Born in Stockholm, Sweden, she came to New york at age nine where she soon began singing Swedish songs on a Saturday morning radio show. By the time she was 14 Yvonne began studying voice in earnest under Sano Marco. She attended Finch College where she majored in Radio and TV and then started performing in night clubs in America and Europe.
Yvonne, whose first love is singing, became sidetracked by a career in films and television, acting in movies, soap operas and situation comedies. All the while, though, she continued to nurture her dream of recording Over the years she set about making that dream a reality and began performing in many of New York's top cabaret clubs.
Four CDs later Roome's latest CD features the songs of Brian Gari.
