Description
The Royal Affairs. The dark, dirty secrets the name implies swirl through the mood of this debut EP entitled 'Please Forgive Us'. Recorded in the Motor City by Jim Diamond (The White Stripes, The Von Bondies, Electric Six, The Hard Lessons), the gritty sounds of the city certainly rubbed off as these songs evoke the images of a downtown streetfight amidst a snowstorm.
The band has been drawing bold comparisons to classics such as The Clash and The Stooges, and Detroit's legendary Lager House describes them as "a snotty, snarling blend of modern rock and punk that will get everyone excited . . . good, good stuff."
There has been a limited pressing of this EP, as a full-length is expected within the next year. Get your copy before they are gone.
