DC Fisher
NEW ALBUM: Wind, Rain, and Snow 2007
DC's latest album is all acoustic featuring his expressive voice, solid guitar playing and straight-ahead harmonica. DC augments his performance with a bit of guitjoe (tracks 9, 10, 11, 12) and a tasty percussion groove of traditional hand drums (opening track Secret) the mix of instruments gives the songs an earthy feel that compliments the modern expression of DCs lyrics.
This album was written and recorded in Neptune, New Jersey, October-November 2006, shortly after DC moved to the Jersey Shore from Marquette, Michigan. The lyrics represent the transitional thoughts and feelings evoked by a rambling lifestyle and moments of self-reflection. The tunes cover a variety of themes including poverty (10th Ave. Girl), war (Gods of War), and lost love (Tearing of the Pages, and Rider). DC presents these songs in the folk tradition with a musical styles reminiscent of Woody Guthrie, Lucinda Williams, and Dylan.

What about Chad?
As many fans have probably realized DC was know for many years as Chad. Turns out Chad is a nickname he picked up at about 10 months of age from his family (the story is too long and anti-climactic to re-tell). What many people dont know is that Chads real initials are D.C. Fisher. The change of names is a step to simplify his professional life.
