Description
Terry Palasz (palace) is a singer-actress most recently known around the country for her uproarious and heartwarming one-woman show, The Polish Diva from Milwaukee. She now introduces her first polka CD The Polish Divas Polka Party, which is already receiving rave reviews for Terrys powerful vocals, great team of musicians (including accordionist, arranger and producer Toby Hanson) and diverse polka styles.
Ms. Palasz, with her pleasing and lusty soprano, sings polka favorites from around the country with particular focus on old-style Polish tunes. She also gives her special twist to vintage pop tunes such as Cuanto Le Gusta and Dominique.
Born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Polish and English parents, Terry was equally influenced by community polka dances and social teas, giving her a unique blend of elegance and raucousness in her performances.
