An original eclectic blend of world grooves. BuzzUniverse are one of New Jersey's great live music attractions. They take the audience on a journey through countless musical genres, with relentless energy, top-notch songwriting, four-part harmonies, and a warm grassroots approach. With the distinctive arrangement of guitar, bass, drums, saxophone & flute, BuzzUniverse is sonic bliss for the soul.
BuzzUniverse released their second studio album, birdfishtree, in October 2006. The album consists of 13 original songs and one cover, ranging in styles from rock, to latin, to funk, to country, to ambient and even theatrical pieces.
Since their inception in late 2000, BuzzUniverse have averaged 75 shows per year including several high-profile festival appearances such as Musikfest in Bethlehem PA, The Great Bamboozle in Asbury Park NJ, the Stonehenge Music Festival in Kellyburg PA, and for three straight years, Beer on the Pier in New York City.
The band has also performed several free concerts in New York City parks in 2005 & 2006, one of which inspired Page Six of the New York Post to declare BuzzUniverse "That Hot Band from New Jersey."
