Description
the gypsy moths started out as the acoustic duo of Meredith Cushing and Raina Rose, way back in the halls of Lincoln High School, but more often in the parks of Portland, OR. They released a self-titled cd in 2004. Subsequently, they pulled in a jolly bass player named Trent Hinchman, whose roomate, Justin Burkhart was a bald drummer. The four enjoyed lots of fun NW & CA mini-tours, grueling practices in the evergreen house, seeing movies together, trashing hotel rooms during late night whiskey jams, and, well, dating eachother...that's why they broke up. Raina Rose now plays solo all over the country, Meredith Cushing has a lovely baby boy named Orin, Trent plays bass with The Raining, and Justin is a hermit and i think he is playing skins with a band called Dig-A-Bone, but no one knows for sure.check out Raina Rose and the Gypsy Moth's myspace
