Description
John Hadfields first CD, Monkeys in the House, won three Childrens Music Web Awards and inspired a live music / variety show that John has performed for literally zillions of children and families. Robot Monkey Head continues the tradition of quality original music for children of all ages, with trademark John Hadfield / Geri Smith songwriting that combines unique lyrics, outstanding musical arrangements, and zany sing-along fun.
Id like to spend an afternoon in Johns brain.
Steve Marshall -- Rubber Chicken Radio, Tokyo Japan
You should write a musical the costumes would be insane.
David Sedaris -- NPR humorist and best selling author
John Hadfield is an international performer who graduated from the University of Delaware with a degree in Russian Language and chose to do his graduate work at the Ringling Bros. Clown College. He has performed at Disneyland, the White House, the National Theater, the World Caf Live, The Royal Lichtenstein Circus, the Philadelphia International Childrens Festival, the China International Children's Festival, and Magic Land in Bangkok, Thailand.
He sings, he dances, he juggles, he stands on his head. He dresses as a Russian ballerina and smashes dishes, does a ventriloquism act with a live dummy, travels with a mind-reading dog, and tours the East coast performing a science show and variety shows for elementary school aged kids and senior citizens. He ski races and has a black belt in aikido.
His music is wacky and sometimes educational - always fun and original.
