Chip Bellisime - Guitarist, Singer, Songwriter


Chip Bellisime's love for music began as a young child through the influence of his parents. He is a gifted, singer, songwriter, and guitarist who has been writing music, and performing to live audiences since he was 9 years old. From the early age of 13, Chip has been actively involved in leading worship. He has shared the stage with many Christian recording artists including, Crystal Lewis, Rob Mathis, Jon Gibson, Chris Falson, and many others. He has written many worship songs, which are sung in churches today, such as Life Love Hope, We Welcome You, Lift My Life, and many others.

Chip was born in Orange, California and moved to Ventura, California at the age of 4. He gave his life to Christ when he was 8 years old at a youth camp. He attended Ventura Christian Elementary & Jr. High School where he cultivated his love for Christ and music. His love for God and his family continues to inspire his passion for the art. He grew up listening to his Dad playing his guitar and was immediately drawn to the instrument. Some of his fondest childhood memories were listening to his Mom, who loved to sing in the car or while she was working, around the house. Music has always played an important part of his life and continues to shape his very person.

Chip serves as the worship leader at Calvary, Laguna Woods in Southern California. Prior to his role at Calvary, Laguna Woods, he served under Chuck Smith Jr. at Calvary Chapel, Capo Beach. His days are spent working for Sanmina-SCI Corporation as Director of Business Development for Southern California. Chip spends his extra time with his beautiful wife and 3 children. His hobbies included fly fishing, camping, golfing, and playing with high tech gadgets.
