Drummer/Percussionist-Kenny Sara
Los Angeles magazine describes Kenny's playing as "Steady but unobtrusive percussion." Born in New Orleans, Kenny began playing professionally with seasoned musicians at the early age of fourteen.
Today, Kenny is still striving for perfection, always challenging his musical abilities with various artists, bands and tours. Kenny also finds time to do on camera work as an actor/musician.
Kenny's musical and commerical accomplishments are as a Drummer/Featured Performer : Herbie Hancock, Woody Allen, Eddie "Cleanhead" Vinson, Bennie Maupin, Bo Didley, Henry Butler, Taj Mahal, Pharoh Sanders, Wayne Shorter, Della Reese, Plas Johnson, Katie Segal, Joe Liggins, James Earl Jones, "Papa" John Creach.
Kenny also served as associate Musical Director for the New Orleans Broadway Musical, "One Mo' Time." When Kenny is in Los Angeles, Kenny is playing with his own band, "The Sounds of New Orleans."
